Right now, in Ireland there are an estimated 15% of our population aged over 65*, the vast majority of these wish to continue living the independent lifestyle they’re come to know and enjoy in their own homes. That is, until there’s a change in their family situation or health, a challenge we don’t always get to plan for.
At Crothers Security we developed Eila Connect as a solution to this very real problem that impacts all of us in some way at some point in our lives.
Eila Connect was designed to enhance the safety and peace of mind for those living alone and their loves ones using the latest in Smart Technology, connecting them without any unnecessary intrusion.
A series of sensors are installed in the home enabling regular routines such as bedtimes to be monitored, keeping track of whether doors are closed, ensuring there are no taps left running or, that there aren’t any smoke alerts that may be otherwise missed.
Family members can check in via an app to ensure that their loved ones are securely at home and in bed without the need to make a call.
If an alert is raised at the 24-hour monitoring service which comes as part of the system, the emergency services are alerted.
The end user gets to remain Independent yet Connected and ultimately can choose to stay living alone in their own home for longer.
